Sizing to your dog
Choose on weight, not enthusiasm. A ramp rated below your dog flexes underfoot, and a dog that has one bad exit often will not try again. If your dog sits near a capacity boundary, size up.
Training takes a few sessions
Most dogs need three or four guided attempts before using a ramp unprompted. Start with the ramp in shallow, calm water and let them walk it before there is any pressure to use it as an exit.
