Sizing an Inflatable Slide to Your Pool and Deck
Most returns come down to one of three measurements nobody took.
The three that matter
- Clear deck length on the entry side — the slide footprint plus room to climb behind it.
- Water depth at the exit point — measured where the rider lands.
- Overhead clearance — branches, eaves, umbrellas and pergolas. Easy to forget and expensive to discover late.

Size to the users, not the pool
A big pool does not automatically call for the biggest slide. If the primary users are five and seven years old, the Minima will get used far more than a Megalo they find intimidating. If they are eleven and thirteen, the reverse is true and a small slide gets outgrown in a season.
If you are between sizes
Size up if the deck genuinely takes it and the kids are still growing. Size down if space is tight or the youngest user is under six.
